My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Fassa's friend, Zoey. Zoey is a one year old, fawn, purebred Boxer with natural ears and docked tail. We were asked to find her a great approved home by her people because they are unable to provide her with the attention a young Boxer requires. They are a young family with sports oriented small children, finding themselves attending many, many sports events. They believe their busy schedules are not giving Zoey the time and attention she needs. Obviously Zoey's best interests were at heart when this decision was made. Thank you to this family for thinking of her first.

Zoey is a great Boxer Babe! She is housebroken, spayed, current on vaccines, receives her monthly heart worm preventative along with flea and tick control. She has play dates with one of her litter mates, that she thoroughly enjoys. Zoey's interest in cats would be one of curiosity only. She is absolutely wonderful with children. Zoey's enjoyment of romping and running coupled with her typical boxer energy requires a fenced in yard. Zoey has never attempted to jump a 4' section of fencing at her current home. Her current family also uses baby gates to contain her from time to time and she has never attempted to jump those either. Zoey as with most young boxers, is treat motivated. Training therefore is relatively easy as she is always ready for a treat as reward. She's learning how to walk nicely on a leash....a few more treats during a few more walks and she should have leash walking down pat! Zoey is truly a gem of a gal!

If you feel you're a match for Zoey and are considering adopting her, please complete an application application found on our website:www.fassasfriendsboxerrescue.com at the top of the page under the Adoption Tab. A volunteer will then contact you within a few days. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at fassasfriends@gmail.com.
