Midnight's Story...
Midnight is a 1 ½ year old Border Collie mix. He is young and bright eyed -- and LOVES to play. He's delightful to watch - he will bow to his new friend, nuzzle, and invite them to romp...and then he has the time of his life when his new buddy will play! His dog manners are excellent and he has a very even, calm temperament. He loves human attention as well and would be a great dog to play ball with at the dog park, hike, or take on trips. He's a best friend kind of guy. We'd love to introduce you to him. He's in Huntsville, AL. If you would like to meet him, send an email to info@FORrescue.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Midnight, a Homewood Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
