Katie's Story...
So I am going to float a couple boats here… But I am pretty much adorable, sweet and the best dog you could ever meet. I am not usually this self-assured, but they told me to sell myself in my description so I am coming out guns blazing! I love people of all ages! I love dogs of all kinds. I even have a special place for cats in my heart. I just try to be nice and keep my karma jar full. I figure if you pay it forward you will reap the benefits in the end right? So I am not going to try and dazzle you with parlor tricks. I am just a sweet dog looking for someone to love. I am great in my crate training and that is just start…I know I will be even greater when I'm in your life.
18 months old-19lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; microchip, neuter, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie, a Portland Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
