My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are desperate to place Emma into a forever home. Please help! We will waive the adoption fee for a good home for this girl!

Emma was adopted from us a kitten 5 years ago with another kitten, Sam. They lived happily in a home until Dec 31st of 2012 when her mom lost the roof over her head, and thus the kitty's heads as well. We agreed to temporarily house Emma and her adopted brother Sam until their mom could get back on her feet.

7 months later we still have the cats. Their former owner has surrendered them to us and we have placed them for adoption. In the past few months Emma has become a holy terror. Not with people, but with our cat residents. She first targeted Jaycie and when we fixed that, she found new cats to harass. So we tried putting her into a foster home with two male cats. It seemed she only picked on other females at our center. But at her foster home, she began picking fights with the boys.

Emma is an amazingly sweet and loving cat who actually 'hugs' you back when you pick her up (which she thoroughly enjoys!) and will make a most excellent lap warmer and companion for someone who has no other cats. Emma suffers, or rather other cats in her vicinity suffer, from her 'Tortitude'. Torti cats are so well known for their distinct attitude that a phrase has been coined to describe it.

We have a very small facility. For the most part our cats live in peace and harmony until they get adopted. Emma is making everyone miserable and many of our cats have become reclusive due to the hostile atmosphere Emma creates. This cat needs to be an only 'child' and we have no place to house her other than in a cage. That is no life for a cat. Again, she is WONDERFUL with people and very affectionate and outgoing. Please help her find a home by sharing and liking this post!

All of our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites.

If you are interested in adopting one of our kittens, please CLICK HERE to fill out an Adoption Application. Our adoption fee is $85 for one kitten and $125 for two. For cats over 1 year we have a donation based adoption fee. ($50 minimum) Donate what you can to us and then use your savings to go buy all your fun kitty supplies.

Our adoption center is located at 4600 Knapp NE 49525. Our open adoption hours are every Thursday 6-8pm and Sunday from 12-2pm. Come on out and meet the love of your life!

'Our adoption facility houses 35 kitties. The rest are in foster homes. If you want to meet a specific kitty, please inquire with us before attending an adoption event, so we can make every effort to have the requested kitties available!'

Monthly we will hold different adoption events and specials. Click NOW for the exciting details!
