Lucy's Story...
Hi! I'm Lucy! Mama calls me a ChiWeenie - I think that means I'm part Chihuahua and part Doxie. I was born in January of 2013. I love having fun, playing with my humans and with other friendly small dogs. I'm still a puppy so I like to chew on things, too. That means I'll need safe chew toys to play with. I do pretty good getting along with cats, but I'm still learning! I'm learning the potty training thing, too. I can be a little shy around strangers, but once I get to know you, I'm a wiggly ball of fun! If you'd like to meet me, call foster mama Abby @ 602-348-5599 & she'll introduce us. Come meet me soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Glendale Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Glendale, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Glendale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glendale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glendale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glendale paves the way for another one to be saved.
