Will's Story...
Meet Will. He is an energetic 4mo old hound mix from Alabama. Will's favorite hobbies include bird watching, bug catching, pulling out all the dog toys, and playing with his four legged foster siblings. This social butterfly loves to meet new people and enjoys playing with every dog he sees. Will is being a perfect little gentleman in his foster home by not jumping on people and greeting others with a soft kiss and the hope for a belly rub. This bundle of cuteness is housebroken, crate trained, up to date on shots, and snoozes all night long. If you would like to give Will the happily ever after that he deserves, please fill out an application. Will is being fostered in Hanover, PA with large dogs, cats, and kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Will, a New Oxford Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in New Oxford, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in New Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
