Gucci's Story...
Gucci is a super sweet 10-year-old female pug with nothing but love to share. She was used for breeding but has been spayed and comes with a clean bill of health. Gucci came to her foster family's house Saturday evening, and by Sunday morning she was using the doggy door like an old pro.

Gucci is currently living with a pack of four pugs. Other than wanting to sniff a lot, she has been great! We used a water bottle when Gucci was a bit too enthusiastic in her sniffing adventures. She obeys when given direction and understands some basic commands.

Gucci, like other breeding dogs, only wants love and affection. She is a people pleaser and will lay whichever way is better for the human who is rubbing her belly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gucci, a Austin Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Austin, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
