Georgette is a female Yorkshire Terrier approximately 3 years of age. She appears to be purebred although we do not have papers. Georgette has gorgeous, classic silver and tan silky fur that is non-shedding. She is a nice sturdy size, currently weighing 14 pounds. Georgette is a classy young dog and loves a pampered lifestyle. She adores being inside with her people and is happiest when she is by your side. She is a very attentive, affectionate girl, gentle and sweet tempered. She is great with children, cats and other dogs. Georgette is not very playful - yet, preferring to snuggle, cuddle, and enjoy creature comforts. She is very healthy and robust, a good eater, and well behaved inside the home. Georgette likes to go for walks on leash and is easy to walk around the neighborhood. She is very appropriate when she meets other dogs or people along the way. Georgette is also great when company comes over, politely greeting guests without barking or jumping. She is a darling, easy keeper. Georgette was brought in stray to a very high-kill shelter. She is a real winner and has a heart of gold. Georgette is going to make an outstanding pet and companion for some lucky person or family. She is looking for a responsible forever home that will keep her safe. She is ready for her new future to begin today!

Georgette’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Georgette is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Carol and is ready for her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GEORGETTE, a Newport Beach Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
