JILL's Story...
Jill is a 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix (?) weighing 45 lbs, who was abandoned along with her young puppies. She was a great mom to her puppies and now is ready to find her forever home. Jill is a very playful and happy girl. She loves everyone. She gets along very well with the other dogs and the cats in her foster home. She has learned to sit and is walking well on leash. Currently she is primarily outside in a fenced yard, but should easily transition to indoor living, given her easy going nature. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JILL, a Salem Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Salem, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
