Phoenix's Story...
Phoenix is a Dobermain, coonhound mix, he is between 4-5 years old, approxmately 54 pounds, he is somewhat skinny but we are doing our best to fatten him up, Phoenix is house broken, and he is a snuggle bug. He loves belly rubs and loves to snuggle up next to you and sleep on his back. Phoenix does bond quickly to his human and even tho he is in a foster home with other siblings, Phoenix is a attention hog when it comes to his foster mommy and would do best as a only dog, or someone who is experienced to show him that there is enough love for everyone. We are unsure how he is with cats, or small children, we can temperament test him, Phoenix does well on a leash, and loves to car ride, he also enjoy's running and playing in his foster moms yard, he loves his toys.
Phoenix will be fully vetted before going to his forever home. Phoenix is hungry for attention and love, are you the family he is been looking for? Phoenix is foster in Kansas transport is available

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoenix, a Staunton Doberman Pinscher/Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/Coonhound (Unknown Type) for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/Coonhound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/Coonhound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
