My story

Emmy is a petite gal with a big heart and a big purrsonality! Emmy loves attention and is happy simply being with her people. Emmy loves all forms of snuggling from the conventional to the unconventional. She loves being pet and will purr uncontrollably when you rub her head, chin, ears, or chest. She enjoys being held and will cuddle as close as possible to you, purring with happiness. If you're crouched on the ground and feel a light weight on your shoulder, no need to worry - Emmy has just jumped onto your back and is now snuggling against your neck and purring sweet nothings into your ear! Emmy is what you could call super-affectionate, head-butting you for attention, purring preemptively to entice you into petting her, and less subtly placing her paw on your arm to let you know she's patiently awaiting your affection!



Emmy enjoys play time almost as much as snuggle time. She loves chasing balls, monkeying around on kitty condos, and pursuing wand toys. Watching Emmy play with wand toys is so much fun...she achieves admirable heights when jumping in the air for the wand toy, however she does have room for improvement on her landings! Emmy also finds shoelaces hard to resist. As much as Emmy loves to play, she is always more than happy to take a break to snuggle with her person! Emmy also loves to stretch her paws and claws on her favorite cardboard scratcher.



Emmy is about as sweet as they come, sharing her love with her people as well as other friendly kitties! She will bring a lot of love and laughter to the family that is lucky enough to welcome her into their home and heart! To learn more - www.azrescue.org.
