Dawson's Story...
Dawson is a tiny min pin man and he is about 12 years old. Dawson lost his person when she had to go to an assisted living facility. He is now looking for someone who would like to be his companion in his own golden years. Dawson is housetrained and gets along with other dogs and cats. Dawson has elevated liver enzymes so he is on a special low protein diet. He does not like the Hill’s kibble formulated for his condition so his foster mom makes him food with a multi vitamin, baked potato and egg. He really likes this special food! Dawson is neutered, up to date on all vaccines including rabies, and is microchipped. If you would like to provide a loving home for Dawson then please email stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com. Dawson’s adoption donation is $150.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dawson, a Sheridan Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Sheridan, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Sheridan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheridan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheridan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheridan paves the way for another one to be saved.
