Lucca's Story...
Lucca- I am foster Mom's little kitchen helper. I like to be right with her when she is making dinner, well really all the time. I purr with just a look from her because I know I will get some lovin'. I like attention and to be spoiled. Foster Mommy carries me around the house so I can see the world from a different level. You see, I was very weak and skinny when some nice boys found me. I had been left in a heavy rainstorm all alone next to a church. I like my cat bed, it is so comfortable and the toys, I have so much fun with the toys and climbing the cat tree. . I play a lot now too. Sometimes I play so hard that I just go to sleep where I sit. Life is tough for a cutie like me. And WOW the food I get is great. I like to look at a few cookbooks and try to help in the decision making for my meals. Hey, how about a dinner date? Pick me up about 8 and we can plan a lifetime of meals together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucca, a Smithfield Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Smithfield, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Smithfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
