April-Adopted!'s Story...
April was found emaciated and with wounds so bad the doctors were doubtful they could save her front leg. After several surgeries and weeks at the vet receiving continual antibiotics and dressing changes for her wounds, she recovered and her leg was able to be saved. She is the sweetest dog that loves people and other dogs. In fact, April is so sweet and loving that she is one of the kissers in our Kissing Booth! April has a fun personality and is always happy to play. She'll make a great fit for a fun-loving household. Birth date 4/30/11

Why Adoption is a Great Option

April-Adopted!, a Detroit American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
