Roscoe's Story...
Roscoe is a fun loving boy that loves to feel the wind in his face from going for a good ride with his people! He is about 2 years old and seems to love everyone and everything including cats and other dogs. We fell in love with Roscoe's "smile" and his beautiful amber eyes. This great guy is looking for a forever home where he can hang out with his family and of course, go for an occasional Sunday drive!
Submitting an adoption application is the first step in adoption. For more information on Roscoe or to receive an application contact Sarah at hbcrmidtn@gmail.com or feel free to call or text 931-260-2471. Due to work schedules, email generates the fastest response.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Cookeville Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Cookeville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Cookeville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cookeville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cookeville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cookeville paves the way for another one to be saved.
