SASHA F/5m/25#. Catahoula Leopard Dog get the name from their colorful coats. These are dogs who like to work (just like our Youth Volunteers). They like to have tasks to do, they require exercise, and like all dogs will benefit from proper socialization and training. Mainly, like with kids, keep 'em busy and they'll stay out of trouble!

MuttSavers Rescue recognizes the many contributions our Youth Volunteers make to helping rescue mutts get adopted. In honor of them, each mutt is named after a Youth Volunteer as away to say "Thank you." You'll see the Youth Volunteers at the events talking about the adoptable mutts, keeping pens clean, walking older dogs, and most important giving love to the mutts!

Each week MuttSavers rescues pups and young dogs from shelters that are forced to put animals to sleep every day because of limited space and resources. There are way too many dogs being born into unwanted and unhealthy conditions. MuttSavers pups are so happy to be rescued.
