Tori's Story...
Tori was rescued from a shelter with her mom and sister. She was only a few weeks old. Mom is a schnauzer mix which gives Tori her small frame, but otherwise she is all lab. She is fun and energetic and loves everyone and everything. She got adopted, but the family didn't realized that she was going to be more lab than schnauzer and decided that she wasn't the dog for them and was returned. She walks fairly well on a leash and is crate trained. She is smart, food motivated and a people pleaser, making training a pretty easy endeavor as long as you are committed to doing it. She will need LOTS of toys and chew toys to work out her puppy funness. She will need an active family with a backyard to romp and play in. She would be perfect for a family with another loving, playful dog of any size.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tori, a Flower Mound Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Flower Mound, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Flower Mound.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flower Mound already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flower Mound breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flower Mound paves the way for another one to be saved.
