Hi my name is Stevie and don't I have the most adorable big eyes?
I have a great rescue story. Here it goes:
My human had to go away suddenly, and the rest of the family didn't want me any longer. So I was brought to the very remote Lake Isabella shelter in the Sequoia National Forest where there were really nice people that took good care of me. But the shelter was so loud, the dogs were in the same room with the cats and barked constantly. I was stuck there with no rescue in sight.
Luckily a very nice lady at the shelter remembered Helping Persian Cats from a few years ago and contacted them and they drove all the way from LA to get me. You know I'm a very special girl and they could tell that.
I was a very good traveller and just talked sometimes to make sure to say thank you for rescuing me. I am so grateful for that. In Los Angeles I received the necessary vet care and since I was horribly matted a very cute lion cut.
I'm sick now with a kitty cold(URI), that I got at the shelter, but I should be better in a week or two.
I'm taking my medicine like a champ.
Ok, now to the most important part.
I am very sweet and extremely affectionate and loving.
I work you for chin scratches and pets and will flirt with you to get attention. I'm what you call a lap kitty and I love to be picked up and held. I will actually snuggle into your arms and start purring immediately. I have so much love to give. I do play but with my cold I'm not at my best right now. I have a very sweet meow and like to talk to you when you give me attention. I like to eat fish flavored wet food right now because I can't smell other foods because of my cold but once better I'll go on a healthier diet(or so they think).
It was said by my old family that I get along great with cats, dogs and kids.
I'd love to go to a home with other kitties, but since I am front paw declawed, they have to be nice to me since I have no means to defend myself. My foster mom already loves me, she tells me that I'm very special and that I will get a very nice furrever family and home soon and will be spoiled like a Princess.
