Sundance's Story...
Meet Sundance. He's a 2 year old, 75# lab / pit mix who is looking for his new home through no fault of his own. Sundance is up to date with vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative & microchipped. He knows basic obedience, is housebroken, leash trained & crate trained. Sundance is a happy, friendly boy who loves everyone. He loves to cuddle on the couch and lick your face. Sundance is very mellow and calm, but does have moments of high energy. He's a smart boy who learns very quickly and eagerly follows commands. He gets along with all people and dogs, but he will chase cats, so a home without cats is best for Sundance. This very handsome boy is just waiting to go home with you. Are you waiting for him?

Rehome Fee: $100.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sundance, a Baton Rouge Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
