My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Lucy and I am a 5 year old Min Pin. I am black and tan with natural ears and a docked tail. I am a big girl of about 21 pounds and 16 inches tall. I am spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on all my shots.

My previous owner rescued me from a shelter 20 minutes before I was to be euthanized. I’m not sure what that means but it doesn’t sound good. I went to live with her and a few other furkids. Unfortunately, one of my fur-brothers was a German Sheppard who made me very nervous so my mom decided it would be best for me to find another home where I could be comfortable.

I am the ultimate lap dog. I love to sit on my foster mom’s lap and cuddle next to her when I sleep. I know to do my business outside and walk well on a leash. I live with 3 other min pins now and get along well with them. I like to sneak my fur-brothers food so I need to be watched closely. I must only eat dry food or my coat and skin will get dry but I can have an occasional treat or two! I get along well with cats and children over 8 years old.

I am a little nervous around people until I get used to them. I like to be with my humans so I would do best with a family who does not leave me alone all day. I can be left alone but I prefer to be with someone. My foster mom says I am a very sweet girl who just needs a furever home with a family to give all my love to. Are you my furever home?
