PAWS 4 HUMANITY INC UPDATE ON DUTCHESS AND HER SEARCH FOR A FOREVER HOME: Paws 4 Humanity Inc has been blown away by the tremendous response to our small breed dogs stories, including Dutchess's, that we have put up on the internet recently. We have been inundated with phone calls, emails and adoption application requests since we put her up on the internet a couple of weeks ago. Paws 4 Humanity Inc currently has a pending adoption application on Dutchess and even though we appreciate the outpouring of interest in Dutchess we will no longer be able to respond to phone calls or take in any more applications or answer email requests on Dutchess. Dutchess sends her love and kisses and says thanks to everyone who has shown an interest in her. We would like to suggest that if you are looking for a dog for your family to take a look at your local shelters and rescues or on petfinder.com or adoptapet.com for you next loyal companion as there are so many deserving dogs out there just like Dutchess waiting for a forever home. Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog.
Hi my name is Duthess. I am a 4 1/2 year old Maltese/Poodle mix (and yes I am hypoallergenic dog) looking for my forever home. I was rescued by Paws 4 Humanity Inc from the Jax ACPS as I was surrendered by my original family as they were moving and could not take me with them. Really! A 6 lb little cutie pie by myself and they couldn't take me with them? I could fit into a carryon suitcase. The harsh reality is my family didn't want me to move with them.
When I was rescued by Paws 4 Humanity Inc from the Jax ACPS shelter I was scared, hiding in the corner of my kennel, and wondering what I had done wrong. There were big dogs in kennels all around me jumping up and down, barking and acting out which made me even more scared.
When the president of Paws 4 Humanity Inc and one of the volunteers came to take me from the shelter I was so scared I jumped up into her arms trembling and then looked at her with my deep dark brown eyes as if I was saying, Please take me home." And that they did. I was raised by my foster mom who fostered some of the small breed dogs for Paws 4 Humanity Inc. I quickly came out of my shell, and now that my skin issues are all cleared up I am looking for a loving forever home. My foster mom calls me "Dutch" for short and often time when she calls me she uses the nickname, "Dutch Apple Pie." That's because I am sweet like Dutch Apple Pie. I am house trained, crate trained and know some of my obedience commands, sit, stay and come when called. I am a cutie petutie as the Paws 4 Humanity Inc vet calls me. I am quite the little love muffin and enjoy my quality time with my foster family. I love to go for walks, and like most little Diva dogs, enjoy playing with all dogs my size and even some of the bigger dogs. One of my best friends was a female black lab named Inky who weighed 80 lbs. Inky and I slept together.
Well now I am ready to find my forever home so if you are interested in meeting the greatest little Diva dog on the planet please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc at 904 771-9516 or shoot them an email request for an adoption application to firstname.lastname@example.org which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to meet yours truly. I look forward to meeting you and showing you just how cute, lovable and adorable that I really am. My cutie pie good looks will undoubtedly seal the deal where you can not help but want to take me home forever! Love and kisses - Dutchess.
