Thank you for your interest in Asia. The volunteer who is bringing Asia has the information on Asia's background. Asia is from a Connecticut pound and may require additional vetting before going home.
Asia is a good girl who likes to be petted. She enjoys running after balls out in the yard. Asia plays well and is a lot of fun! When she plays, she will run back to you for some kisses before going back to playing... it's absolutely adorable! In the car, she will either lie down or sit and look out the window. Asia loves getting belly rubs and already knows her sit command. She walks well on leash, and loves meeting new people. Asia should live in a home with children age 10 and up. She enjoys other dogs, but prefers a home without cats. Asia is housebroken.

If you would like to begin the application process, please fill in the form at the link above and we will review your information, call your personal and well as vet references. PLEASE Fill in the application if you're interested in adoption, this will save you time at the event. A letter from your vet on their letterhead will also be very helpful if they won't be open for us to call as a reference. If you are renting, please note you must have a written letter of permission from your landlord to own a dog on their property. Dog Days will be conducting interviews of prospective adopters. As a policy, Dog Days will not hold dogs for potential adopters so it is important to come to the event by 11:00am Saturday morning if you have your heart set on a particular dog. We will be posting more information on each dog as we get closer to the event weekend which is June 29-30 at Bishops Orchard in Guilford. PLEASE NOTE THAT DOGS ARE GIVEN TO THE BEST HOME, NOT FIRST IN LINE.

Each dog and puppy has been seen by a Connecticut veterinarian who will also be on site to answer any questions you may have. We'll have professional groomers on site to give your new pal a bath before you take them home (no charge) and our adoption bags will give you information and samples for use at home.
