Haley is a 15 pound, 7-month-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who is looking for her forever home. She is excellent with other dogs (she is also fine with cats) and loves to play, play, play! In fact, if there are no other dogs to play with her she will toss her stuffed toys in the air and entertain herself. Haley is so far proving to be potty- trained and has excellent house manners (but potty reinforcement is needed in any new environment). She is just the right amount of puppy and the right amount of cuddly; she makes us laugh on a regular basis. Haley does have a lot of puppy energy so she will require playtime and nice walks each day- if she gets her exercise she will happily sit by you on the couch ever so gently putting a paw on your lap. Haley loves the dogs in her foster home and we would love to see her go into a house with another playful dog. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and micro-chipped. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haley, a Bellflower Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
