Dickens's Story...
Little Dickens is one of a litter of 6 puppies, his mom was a very pretty long haired tan and cream terrier, not sure on his dad he looks like part catahoula, he is approx 3.5 months old as of july 1st and weighs 6 lbs, he will probably be in the 20 lb range when fully grown, he is very playful, loves to run in the back yard with his buddies, loves toys and is just a really nice pup, he is not fully house trained but is learning pretty fast and will need leash training

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
