Update 7/1/13: Say hello to Bugsy!
Bugsy is a 3 year old Corgi-mix in search of a 'forever home'. He was recently rescued from a local pound by our volunteers and is currently in a foster home until he is adopted.
Bugsy's foster mom describes him as being both sweet and affectionate. He is a cuddlebug at heart, so you better love to snuggle if you adopted this little guy!
Bugsy has a laid back personality with his people, but when another dog is around his playful side comes out! He loves to play like crazy with other dogs his age.

While in the care of the Sadie Mae Foundation, all animals are fully vaccinated, heart worm tested and spayed or neutered. Other medical treatments may be provided to our animals, depending upon their specific needs.
In addition, this animal has been microchipped for identification purposes through HomeAgain's® Chip FurKeeps program. Adopters are required to pay the additional one-time,$10.99 microchip registration fee (which lasts the lifetime of the animal) upon adoption.
Info. about Sadie Mae Foundation's adoption process Please note that we do not ship animals or do same-day adoptions. Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
We try to make our adoption process as easy and painless as possible, but please understand where we are coming from and all of the work that goes into rescuing and rehoming homeless animals.
