My story

What a dashing young man Jamie is! It is truly hard to believe that this stunning and sweet dog was dumped at a county shelter. We know there are many wonderful families that would love to give Jamie a forever home and hope you will consider making Jamie a part of yours! Jamie is quiet and calm. He may be a bit shy at first and although he can be playful, he is not a romp and wrestle type of dog. He walks very well on leash and is crate-trained and housebroken. He would do very well in an apartment or townhome environment. Our cats love this soft and gentle fellow. He gets along just fine with other dogs and should do great with children. Jamie is 10 months old and weighs 10 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his shots. He has tested heartworm negative and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. To meet Jamie, please complete the adoption application form at www.cedarfarmrescue.com then call (336) 251-8877. When you call please let us know that you have submitted the application and we will be happy to set up a time for you to come meet Jamie at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville. We and the dogs are there by appointment only! Appointments are generally made between noon and 4 pm or after 7 pm any day of the week, holidays included. All family members, including any other dogs should come to the meeting. We look forward to seeing you all!
