My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shelby is a delightful smaller female rottweiler who is still a puppy at just 14 months of age. As a puppy she had Parvo. Although she is completely healthy now, we believe that the parvo most likely stunted her growth a little bit. She weighs approximately 65 pound, but she is still very thin. At her optimal weight she will be about 75-80 pounds. Rottweilers grow for 3 years/ The first year they get their height, and then they fill out for the following 2 years. Shelby is a good girl. She has run of the house while her foster mom is at work and the only thing that she has destroyed are her toys. She is potty trained, but will have an accident every couple of weeks. She is doggie door trained. She needs basic obedience training. She is up to date on her shots, spayed and microchipped. She does great with other dogs, and may be okay with cats. She lives with a 3 year old little human girl every other weekend and and she does great with her. She is ready for her new forever home as soon as you are ready to give her one! As will all of our rottweilers, Shelby needs to be an inside dog. This heat is just too much for them to handle, and besides, she wouldn't be happy unless she could be around her peeps!
