Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Disposition: Shy, ready to warm up
Bit o' Trouble is a darling medium-hair gray tabby with white with a cute round face and big golden eyes. She is shy but warms up after she feels safe. And she has been feeling safer and safer each day. This gal had a really rough start in life on the streets.
We heard that someone had dumped two kittens into a grocery store parking lot. We set out a trap and caught four! Only three were from the same litter. All kittens were delivered directly to the vet for testing and care. Some of them were labeled "Will Bite." Bit o' Trouble was one of them. So, we separated her from her siblings and isolated her in a crate in a foster home where she would have to warm up to her foster parent if she wanted any playtime. And the more she watched the other cats in the foster home interact with the foster parents, the more she wanted a part of all that. Eventually, playtime was fun for her and she started leaning into her foster parent's hand to get a good scratch and tickle. She even learned to relax a bit at adoption events, which are always a stress on the cats. She is coming around to be quite the cute little kitten.
This baby needs a home where she can feel safe right from the start. A quiet home without small children is what she needs.
