Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Disposition: Independent, playful
Chelsea is a study in contrasts. You could live with her a lifetime and never come close to figuring her out. But then -- she's a tortie, and torties are like that. She can be loving and doting then independent. She can be playful and curious, then aloof. She has all the characterstics of being a tortie -- arrogance, attitude, and affection. She's quite the beauty with her dove gray and light peach coloring. And we think she knows it.
Chelsea traveled a long way to end up with us. We say that she hijacked a truck. She was brought to us by a gentleman who found her in his garage and the best he can figure, she had crawled up into his engine compartment and hung on for dear life as he drove about 50 miles home. She was frightened at the time, and our veterinarian's staff made it their mission to bring her around as she lived at the clinic. They succeeded.
This little gal gets along with other kitties and does well with the dog in her foster home. She would probably enjoy children as long as they were 10 or older.
