Tillie's Story...
Tillie is a 9 month, female, all black kitten. She is very friendly and loves attention. She was found on the side of a road, in the HOT sun, in a cat carrier that was wired shut. Had the girl not stopped to check out what was in the carrier Tillie would have surely died of heat exhaustion!!! It was almost 90 degrees out that day! How can someone do that to a kitten!!! So her angel saved her and now she is hoping for a forever home that will love and cherish her! She loves attention and if you try to put her in a cage or a cat carrier she will scream until you let her out so she can get attention. After she was rescued from the carrier on the side of the road they took her out of the carrier and she laid across the shoulders of the passenger of the car for the entire 1 hour ride! What a sweet girl this kitten is!

I will be outside the Mt Pleasant Walmart Sat and Sun, July 20th & 21st from 11am - 3pm (weather permitting). Come see how cute I am and adopt me!

Adoption donation is $65. She is Leukemia negative, wormed and current on shots. We do offer a low cost spay program for an additional $45 so ask for details.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tillie, a Acme Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Acme, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Acme.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acme already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acme breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acme paves the way for another one to be saved.
