Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Trixie is an amazing dog with a blossoming personality. In a coulple months, she has begun to learn what it’s like to be a dog. She is learning to play with toys, and she is in love with her “sister”. She is gentle in playing with other dogs, and will be most comfortable in a home with at least one other dog. Trixie is also learning to trust people, and she loves to kiss the hands of new people. Trixie enjoys going on walks, and they are a necessity for her as this is usually the only way she will go to the bathroom. But make sure to use a harness and hold on tight – if she sees a squirrel, she will get very excited! When she finds her forever home, she will need a bit of a slow start while she learns to trust someone new, and for about a week while she gets to know her new family, it would be best if she isn’t left alone. At night, no crate is necessary. She will be quite content and quiet curled up on a blanket on the floor somewhere. She doesn’t typically get onto a bed, but she does like to curl up on the end of a couch. Trixie is also learning to enjoy car rides. She jumps in easily and gets out easily. Rides aren’t her favorite yet, but she has made a lot of progress when it comes to car rides. Trixie has not displayed any kind of food aggression towards dogs or people, and takes treats very gently. The best time for Trixie’s personality to shine is first thing in the morning, or after someone comes home. She is all smiles and wags her tail so hard that her whole body wriggles! She makes very silly sounds and hops around and is so happy that you are awake or home. It is a joy to see her so happy to be with people! Trixie is very special, and needs a very special, caring, and understanding home. Don't delay, fill out an adoption application today to be the first one in line to take this beautiful girl home. She will be such a gift to her forever family!
