Jazzy Lee's Story...
Jazzy Lee is 4 years old. She weighs 12 pounds. She was an owner surrender. She is very timid. She warms up but is still learning what and who to trust. She is very very sweet. She is learning new things everyday. She is still learning how to go down steps but does not have a bit of problem coming up steps :) She is completely up to date on her medical. She does really good when it comes to being house broken. She will also use a pee pad. She will NOT tolerate being crated !!! I'm sure based on where she lived before she must have been crated a lot !!! She does great with other dogs. She would like another dog to have as a friend. She would love a lap and someone who will give her the time to bond and be their best friend. A fenced in yard is a must !!! If you would like to be considered in adopting Jazzy Lee please complete our on line adoption application. Jazzy's adoption fee is $300. She is also micro chipped. We require a vet reference and home visit. Jazzy Lee is being fostered in Richmond Va.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jazzy Lee, a Richmond Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
