Turco's Story...
Turco is a possible shar pei/lab mix or german shepherd mix. The breed is just a guess because we do not know what his parents were. He was dumped on a country road. He is up to date on everything and has been neutered. He LOVES the water, kids/people, and other dogs. He stays in an outdoor kennel but from my experience, dogs that have been kept outdoors are easy to house train. Estimated age is 4 months old (as of 5/15/13)Adoption fee is $50

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Turco, a Linton German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Linton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Linton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Linton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Linton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Linton paves the way for another one to be saved.
