Lola's Story...
I'm Lola and I was rescued from a pound where I was scheduled to die in a gas chamber. Now I'm in a foster home in New Richmond and am ready for my forever home. I'm about a year old and weigh about 40 pounds. Foster mom says I am great with kids and other dogs, and the one time I met a cat I didn't chase it! I'm house trained too and will behave in my kennel for up to 3 hours with just a little initial whining. I'm a very active girl and love to go on walks and to play in the yard, but if I'm not leashed I'll go exploring I really love to cuddle, to wrestle on the floor, and to play fetch. I've learned to sit and lay down on command. Foster mom laughs when I chase around the vacuum cleaner and the broom when she is sweeping. I'm spayed and up to date, so if you need a beautiful girl at your house just send foster mom and email! (This pound picture doesn't do me justice. I'm smaller than it appears here and I am much more gorgeous! Foster mom is having trouble getting my good pics out of the camera!)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Osseo Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
