Snickers and Twix are bonded brothers and have been together for 9 years. They do everything together; sit, sleep, eat, and walk together never being far away from one another or out of eye contact from each other. They come when called by their names, but, just simply call “Boys” and they will be at your side. These handsome dachshunds are so easy to be around as they are just plain happy about everything and anybody. They get along with other dogs regardless of size. Snickers and Twix also passed their “kid test” with a 2 year old, but, we knew they would since being around children is something they are use to and comfortable with. They love to ride in the car and going for leashed walks. Even though they get very excited when the leashes come out they patiently wait for you to hook them up to a lead. Snickers and Twix are calm, easy going and really do not bark. They can often be found sleeping together in their shared crate completely covered by the blankets they love to burrow under. Neither of the boys are big on toys, although there are times when you might see them carrying a toy around then they will put it in their crate. Snickers and Twix are all about being with their people and will be your devoted companions. They have had their teeth cleaned, each had pre-dental blood work & everything was normal. Additionally, they have been heart worm tested and both are heart worm negative, they are micro chipped, and all vaccinations are now current. They are in wonderful shape and have shiny, healthy coats. Snickers weighs 17 pounds & Twix weighs 16 pounds. They have been started on a weight loss program even though they really only need to drop 1 or 2 pounds. They are quiet in the crate and they are also dog door trained. They need a Colorado home with a fenced yard and NO cats. They will NOT be separated under any circumstances.
