My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

More than anything else, this strawberry blonde yellow lab is loyal. His name is Red. Somehow he lost his original family (more about that later) and found his way to a nice lady's yard where he decided he would stay forever. The nice lady let him stay awhile thinking someone might come by and claim him. She noticed that he "sits" on command. He was helpful and would follow her around the garden to help her plant, sow and protect. When it was time to go inside, Red stayed outside and waited for her to come back out the next day. He would wag his tail, roll over and try to perform his way into her heart, which he did. But she couldn't keep him. So arrangements were made for our friend, Cathy, to foster him at her clinic. Red is happy go lucky, a lover of souls, tried and true loyal as a die hard patriot, handsome, and full of joy. He is only a year old, doesn't have heartworms which is super great for a dog here in the South, is neutered, a proven family and home dog and most likely an avid swimmer and perhaps sporting dog. We don't know what happened to his family. But we know he is meant to have one. He is undeniably a companion dog who winds his way into any dog lover's heart. Although Red is currently in Jackson, MS, transportation to the New England area can be easily arranged.
