Pito's Story...
I am a male Poodle/Chihuahua mix. I am about 1 year old. I am neutered, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea/heartworm prevention. My adoption is $200.

I was rescued from animal control where I was given up by my owners who were moving.

I would do best in a home without small kids because if frightened, I might nip. I was getting my photo taken at the shelter and I jumped down from the table and the photographer grabbed me and I bit her.

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday from 12-5.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pito, a Orlando Poodle (Miniature)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Chihuahua for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
