My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a female Black Lab mix. I am about 1 year old and I weigh about 48 lbs. I am spayed, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea/heartworm prevention.
My adoption is $100.

I was rescued from Animal Control where I was given up by my family that was moving. I am a sweet girl but sometimes things will startle me. I would do best in a home without kids because if frightened or grabbed at, I might nip.

It is a requirement that I attend training classes at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs. This is so that I can continue to get more comfortable in strange situations and work with my new owner to become entirely trusting. Classes are one hour, once a week for six weeks. The cost is $89 for all six sessions. My adoption has been lowered to compensate for this cost.

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday from 12-5.
