Bandit's Story...
Calling all mushy dog lovers!

Bandit is a 60 lb bundle of love. He is always going to want to be on your lap. This boy will love your kids and love you forever and ever! He really enjoys relaxing on the couch to watch some movies. His favorite are comedies -- his favorite right now is despicable me. He is still confused why no one will take him to the movies to see the sequel. He has a love for water and will enjoy going to the beach or splashing around your pool. If you have a boat this boy will be in heaven! Bandit gets along great with all dogs both big and small. He is good with cats but they do scare him a bit when they hiss. He is a lover not a fighter so when a cat slaps him he is reluctant to go near the feline again. This loving boy will be the best addition to your home. Fill out an application today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Manhasset Greater Swiss Mountain Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog for sale in Manhasset, or seeking a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog dog from a breeder in Manhasset.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhasset already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhasset breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greater Swiss Mountain Dog breeders who help with Greater Swiss Mountain Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhasset paves the way for another one to be saved.
