Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cash is a handsome Double Merle Australian Shepherd male who weighs 20 lbs. at 8 months of age. Cash is completely deaf but he doesn’t let that affect his zest for life. He is on the go from the moment he wakes in the morning. He thoroughly enjoys running through the yard and playing fetch with whatever toy you happen to have at hand. He will retrieve the toy and bring it right back to you and drop it at your feet. This young man is full of life and energy!
Cash loves water! He loves playing in it and splashing it with his feet. He also enjoys retrieving his toys from the water as well. Cash is learning to walk properly on a leash. He still has a tendency to chew on the leash if you stop for an extended period of time while leashed. With more practice over time he will become a wonderful walking companion as he really wants to please you in all he does.
Cash currently shares his foster home with 5 adult dogs and 3 cats. Cash gets along well with everyone. He is a real go – getter and has very little fear. He may be only 20 pounds but he has no problem playing chase with a 90 lb dog. He will need proper supervision as he is still a pup and tends to get into anything within a matter of moments. Once boundaries are set and you show him the ropes, he does very well.
Cash is housebroken and knows how to use a dog door. Cash is also crate trained and is very good about going into his crate when expected of him. It is recommended that Cash be crated anytime that he cannot be properly supervised. Keep in mind that Cash is still a puppy and still has puppy tendencies. If you don’t give him something to do, he will find something to do. He is a wonderful little dog and once he is established in his forever home, he will make the best of companions.
