ROSCOE's Story...
Roscoe is a 6 month old 50% housebroken, crate-trained male Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix. He is currently working on his housebreaking with little accidents. He is a ball of energy and loves to go for walks, give kisses and plays with every human or animal he sees. He is a puppy and like children he needs patience and someone who is going to teach him the ways of a dog and being consistent and firm. We are accepting applications for Roscoe right now; so stop in and pick one up at our front office and spend some time with Roscoe.

Erie County Dog Pound hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30 am - 4 pm and Saturday & Sunday from 10:00 am - 10:30 am (419)627-7607

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ROSCOE, a Sandusky Chihuahua/Boston Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Boston Terrier for sale in Sandusky, or seeking a Chihuahua/Boston Terrier puppy from a breeder in Sandusky.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sandusky already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sandusky breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sandusky paves the way for another one to be saved.
