Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buddy is a super nice young gentleman, a very happy, easy-going guy. He is a small-medium 50 lbs, short and stocky. We ran a DNA test on him, which told us that he is Am Staff & Akita. He looks and acts like a lab in lots of ways, so somewhere in the "mixed breed" results of the DNA test, we just know that there is lab also. He is super friendly, gets along great with other dogs and loves his people friends.
Buddy is probably about 2 - 2 1/2 years old, young and energetic. He is super enthusiastic when it comes to meal times, he just LOVES his food and treats. He is generally a bit mellower the rest of the time. He is crate trained, house trained, and has did great in basic obedience class. He loves going for walks and would do fine in a dog park. He is also great on car rides and loves the water.
Buddy should not be in a home with cats or other small critters as he is way too interested in them. He is so ready to have his own home and his own people so that he can get more one-on-one attention as he loves pets and hugs and cuddles.
Buddy is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and is tested heartworm negative.
PLEASE CONTACT s_smith_polo@yahoo.com to learn more and to request an application for adoption. It is our goal to make a great match between your family and one of our wonderful dogs.
Adoption fees range from $200-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
