Chipper's Story...
Chipper is a 1-yr old male, Cattle Dog/Terrier mix. He weighs about 40 lbs and is a high energy boy that would do best with an active family. He should do well with other children (e.g., 7 years or older). His foster parent says he's doing very well with their teenage daughter. He is also slowly learning to live with their older cat, so would likely do well with a dog savvy cat.

Chipper is eager to learn and is housetrained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chipper, a Vista Cattle Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Vista, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
