My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE - Fuzz Face now has a name...JILL!! She has now been spayed & we've spent some additional time with her, getting to know her. She is shy around strangers, which isn't unusual given her lack of early socialization. But if you quietly sit & let her get to know you, she will be snuggling in your lap in no time. Jill just needs someone to give her lots of TLC to develop into a real love bug!
Fuzz Face is Rio's daughter, not quite a year of age. She didn't have a name yet & quickly became "Fuzz Face" because of some longish hair around her face. She's the only puppy who survived when her mother was rescued from a horrible situation, covered with ticks, virtually starving, no hair etc. Right now, she's a little shy & needs some time to trust a new person. Once she finds a secure loving home, something she's never know before entering rescue, she will likely come out of her shell & be as sweet as her mother. She actually does better when she's not with her mother, Rio, as she hangs back & lets Rio accept all the attention. She still needs to be spayed, etc, but will soon be ready for her new home. She would get along great with another male dog as a companion, but might not be good around small children. She is currently being fostered in the Bartlesville area, so advanced arrangements need to be made to meet her in Tulsa (Call 918 663-7595). If you are able to meet her in Bartlesville, please call 918 333-1122, ask for Lyn, to make those arrangements. The picture isn't great, since it was taken with a polaroid camera, but it gives you an idea.
