My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

hi to Duke , 18month old male . Duke was found in Tampa running in/ out of busy intersection by a police officer. Unfortunately though , Animal Services had been called out and took him to the shelter. Luckily , that same officer worked with a GGARR volunteer and notified her that he was at the shelter. The GGARR Volunteer went and saw him . Boy what a cutie! At the time , he had an application for adoption. Come to find out he was heartworm positive. The adopters backed out.
GGARR was notified and was able to find a temp foster home while he waited out his quarantine. He is now being treated for his heartworms and is up to date on his shots. He is microchipped and neutered.

This boy is sweet , fun and loving. Doesn't do well with cats , but does well with other dogs. A perfect home would be one with older kids and active family. He has become a little shy from being in boarding but warms up quickly.
