Erie and Erik are two kittens close to our hearts at Kitten Krazy. They are the two surviving kittens born to our Erin. She wanted so badly to take care of her babies, but developed mastitis almost immediately after giving birth. Erie and Erik were fostered by a mama cat named Midnight after that. She loved them like they were her own. Unfortunately they developed an illness because of not getting their mamas milk the first few days of life. Because of this, they went to our foster home coordinator Dawn, who nursed them back to health. A side effect of all of this is that they have eye issues that will persist throughout their lives. Erie has a weepy eye once in awhile, but otherwise looks great. She is very loving and sweet. Erik had a more difficult outcome with his eyes. It is evident that there was a severe issue. He does not have any pain and can see to some extent. Someone special will want to adopt and love these two. Erik is such a baby. He hears you coming and he reaches out for you. He loves to be loved. If you have a special place in your heart and home, these two will bring you joy.
