Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This very sweet boy was turned into a kill shelter. However, his story is not that some uncaring person just didn't want him anymore. His owner was a 90 year old WWll veterean who knew he simply could not care for this dog. The staff at the shelter saw Emmett's potential as being a great family pet and pleaded with rescue groups to find him a home. He is approx 1-1/2 yrs old and very playful. He is very adaptable and is a pretty happy go lucky guy. Some of the personality traits of the Plott Hound are described as such: intelligent, loyal, basically healthy and not prone to a lot of inherited type problems, lots of stamina, quick to learn, quick to love their families and very good with children. Giving this neat guy a loving forever home would be a "win-win" for any family. He will be up to date on all shots and neutered before traveling to new home
