Mahalo's Story...
I am Mahalo which means “thank you” in Hawaiian. My foster parents call me the gentle giant because I’m the biggest of the litter and I’m dedicated to cuddles and purrs. My favorite toy is the string fluffy you see in the picture and I love taking long walks along the loft wall. My mommy abandoned me when I was only 3 days old so I’m looking for a new family that wants to play and give me lots of affection! If you are interested in adopting Mahalo please complete an application from our website and email it to purr4fur@gmail.com or fax it to 267-636-4086.

Kittens adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv and many of them are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Kitten adoption donations are $100, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Please visit our website, www.felineundergroundrescue.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mahalo, a Winchester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Winchester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Winchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
