Sadie's Story...
I'd like to introduce myself if I may. I'm around 6 years old, have a beautiful blue-gray coat with a splash of white, and am a very social girl who loves everyone I meet. I'm great with all people but prefer to be the only dog in the family. I'm curious about cats but never aggressive. I am proud to say that I am completely house-trained and reliable to be loose in the house. I am hoping to find my forever home and begin the best part of my life.

Sadie's adoption fee is $175. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all shots and heartworm negative. Please call Helping Strays at 618-282-7387 for more information or to make arrangements to visit with Sadie. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Columbia American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Columbia, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
