June Bug's Story...
This is June Bug a 2 year old mini donkey and is about 34" tall. June Bug was a very fearful when we picked her up. We have been working with her everyday and has come a long way.

UPDATE- 7/16/13 June Bug has been doing awesome with her training. Ju Ju loves treats so I use this to my advantage. June will now stand still when tied for her grooming. As I am grooming her I give her treats. She leads, but still pulls back some times. You must be patient and calm with her if she pulls back. We have been brushing a lot of hair off her but we still have a lot left.
I was very proud of Ju Ju tonight. My husband was bent down filling water buckets when Ju Ju walked up behind him and nudge him in the back with her nose. When he turned around she stood there while he pet her. Tonight she walked up to him and started chewing on his shorts. After all the chores were done Ju Ju walked up to mu husband stood in front of him waiting for my husband to pet her. We also found out the June Bug is a great guard donkey. When the dogs come into the turn out pen June Bug will chase them out. June Bug does run with miniature horses and guards the foals.

June Bug adoption fee is $100.00. She is current on worming, shots, coggins and hoof trims.
